Hi, I'm Wouter, a 27-year-old software engineer from South Holland. Welcome to my portfolio website, where I showcase the projects I've worked on. I have spent the past five years working as a backend Ruby on Rails developer and am currently seeking a new and exciting challenge to further advance my career. In my free time, I love working on game development—both playing and creating games are passions of mine.

Shmoopy is a small arcade shoot 'em up (shmup) game made with the PICO-8 engine. PICO-8 is an 8-bit fantasy console that enforces restrictions to replicate the conditions of old hardware consoles, such as the Game Boy.
